Your vote MATTERS! Yes -- it really does. Today’s your day. If you haven’t voted yet, get out there!
Get out to the polls and vote in person. In many states, you can still drop off your mail-in ballot in designated drop-boxes. 🗳️
It’s never been more important to vote. Did you know that many elections have been decided by as few as 17 votes? Here’s a list (source - @npr):
🗳️A Vermont state Senate Democratic primary was determined by a single vote out of more than 7,400 cast.
🗳️A New Mexico state House seat was decided by two votes out of almost 14,000.
🗳️A Virginia House of Delegates race ended in a tie out of more than 23,000 votes cast. The tie was broken by pulling a name, placed in a film canister, out of a bowl.
It’s amazing what a difference one vote can make. #everyvotematters
Real people. Sharing real stories. That’s what my podcast is all about.
As much sh*t as there is going on in the world right now, as often as I get discouraged, I try to keep my head up.
Yes, the system is messed up. Yes, it is built to work against minorities, LGBTQ+, POC, women, and all those on the margins of society. But YES -- can we create change? Yes. I STILL believe. Even after all this.
Humans are capable of hate. But we are also capable of love. And I will never surrender to believing that the power of hate is capable of overcoming the power of love.
Because love wins every. damn. time.

As a business and life coach, Cara-Lyn (@clgcoaching) is one of the most inspiring people I know.
When she came on the show in season 1, she shared some awesome insights on how to get past that never-ending nagging feeling, when you feel “stuck.”
In this episode, she shared a ton of great insights into how we can help ourselves get ‘unstuck’ and activate the change we want to see in our daily lives.
This quote in particular resonated with me. The more time I spend on self-reflection, the more often I realize that it takes WORK. It’s not always easy, and it often involves feeling uncomfortable.
I’ve realized, though, that learning how to sit with my discomfort is the key to growth. Through discomfort, I’ve learned how to find healing and a renewed sense of self.
